Mark has 22 years of experience in customer service, 17 of which was spent at Highmark, educating members about insurance coverage; managing long-term disability claims and directing claims adjudication for self-funded health insurance plans. Mark's comfort level with high claims volume and fast-paced enviroments helps the Kell Group to address the ever-changing needs of the growing practices that we support.
Leigh has 28 years of experience in Information System management and medical charge/payment posting in multiple environments, including anesthesiology. With her great speed and accuracy, and excellent understanding of insurance claims guidelines, the Kell Group often utilizes Leigh's skills for researching & resolving credit balance accounts.
Betsy brings 16 years of sales, customer service, auditing, bookkeeping, purchasing and business management experience from a broad range of service industry settings. She is also a notary public. Her keen problem-solving, communications, and organization skills allow us to maintain a solid infrastructure from which we serve our medical billing and consulting clients.
Vicki has 23 years of medical experience as a Medical Secretary and Medical Billing Specialist in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Nephrology practices. Her thorough understanding of insurance claim adjudication and denial processes allows her to mitigate barriers to payment and bring our clients the reimbursements that they deserve.
After 3 years of nursing training, and work as a boilermaker, Nicole is a recent graduate of the Everest Institute. We plan to put her theoretical knowledge to good use as she learns the Kell Group's methodology of claims followup.
